This dark walnut wood bench is made from reclaimed urban wood. Primitive beauty with an urban touch. The solid wood bench utilizes salvaged walnut wood logs for a rustic bench feel. Narrow and backless, the simple lines express the natural texture of the end grain of each species. 

Walnut is more common in North Alabama, but walnut trees inhabit the urban forest in the City of Birmingham, AL and it's surrounding areas.

The 12" x 12" beam is milled and finished to sit raised by a mild steel base with a black patina. The walnut beam bench can be fabricated to order, in a variety of lengths.
